• Sustainable City

Sustainability takes on many forms, particularly in a City defined by its history and serenity. This includes modernizing utility and road infrastructure to protect its structures, calming traffic in support of Walkability, planning for a vibrant business district, responsible investment, and rebuilding our tree canopy. The goal of these positions is to pass down a better City to its next generation of stewards.

  • Balanced Neighborhoods

Our neighborhoods have the unique challenge to balance our irreplaceable historic architecture, new home infill, and the intangibility of a community where everyone knows their neighbors. We must be able to allow for development that sympathetically scales to its neighborhood while doing no harm to the homes next door during and after construction.

  • Engaged Neighbors

We will look to engage neighbors on two fronts: on our streets and for the City. On our streets, I will continue to support ordinance and design that cultivates places where neighbors meet and organically build the connectivity of vibrant community. For the City is a call to service. We have an immense, untapped, well of expertise and passion and will build on the success of the current task forces for everything from “gigs” to “task force leader” hand raising.
